Tragically, the results have been devastating for our faith and values: The institution of marriage as between 'one man and one woman' threatened, references to God and Faith forced from our public buildings and institutions, prayer banned from our schools, human life denigrated and discarded. We are serving as co-chairmen of Americans of Faith because we want to see a new vision in our great nation - one where every Christian is involved in our political process and committed to seeing our faith protected and our values strengthened in the public arena. Our goals are simple yet powerful: Register to vote 2 Million Christians across out nation who are currently un-registered using our Operation Faith Vote. We believe it's our civic and Christian duty to vote in elections at every level. Create a church-based network of 50,000 evangelical pastors and lay-persons to increase awareness of emerging public policy issues at both the state and federal level and educate Christians on how they can get involved. Deliver our value and faith message using the local media by training and encouraging Christians to write letters to their local newspapers, call local radio talk shows, attend rallies and events, and build relationships with the local media. The challenge is enormous. The need is great. But, we have been called to accomplish this mission. We ask you to join our effort.
