Operation Vote is
designed to increase voter registration and get-out-the-vote efforts within the christian community. Through
the mediums of Christian print, radio, retail outlets, music events and churches, we
hope to encourage the Christian community to register to vote and make its
voice heard on Election Day. This website includes how-to information aimed to
assist those who want to take part in this endeavor.
MISSION STATEMENT
Register to vote 2 Million un-registered Christians accross our nation.
In churches and communities across America there are millions of Christians who take no
part in our nation's political process. This situation must changed in order to bring about the America
that we want and need.
The first step is the most important - registering them to vote. Americans of Faith
is mounting the most intensive voter registration effort among people of faith in our
nations's history.
Create a church-based network of 50,000 evangelical pastors and lay-persons.
Americans of Faith is committed to creating a grassroots organization active in 50,000
evangelical churches across our nation.
Chruch liaison leaders -- pastors, lay leaders and active members -- will be educated
about the political process and ways they can make a postive impact. Then, they will be
energized to take a stand on crucial local, state and federal issues impacting their faith by
leading their fellow church members in contacting locally elected officials to urge the
proper action.

from all walks of life.
The cast majority of Americans receive their news from local and regional media outlets -
not national sources. Yet Christians too often fail to make their case known through the local media.
Americans of Faith will train and energize Christians across the United States in ways to deliver our message
to local newspapers, television stations, radio stations and internet driven media outlets.
Utilize faith-based influence centers such as Christian radio stations, bookstores, schools and music
festivals and concerts to urge greater participation in America's political process among people of faith.
Christian radio stations and bookstores along with Christian schools are crucial influence centers
within the faith-based community. Amercians of Faith will reach out to these institutions in order to
molbilize and energize Christians to become involved politically.

public opinion polls, only 20-25 percent of the American Christian community
votes in U.S. elections. · Over 24 million Evangelicals in America
are not registered to vote! · ONE VOTE per neighborhood gave John F.
Kennedy victory over Richard Nixon in 1960.
